THE EIGHT-WEEK ENGAGEMENT

Use the time ahead.
Settle the questions you can.

Begin with how your operations work today. In eight weeks, we work with your people to frame how those operations can extend into cloud—at cloud speed—with compliance preparation built into the strategy.

A BOUNDED ENGAGEMENT

Two weeks to prepare.
Six weeks to work through it.

WEEKS 1–2 · PREPARATION

Gather the starting picture

We coordinate the data call with your data steward. Your evidence owners gather work you already have: service scope, application inventories, high-level architecture, operating records and available security documentation. Missing material is recorded, not manufactured.

WEEKS 3–8 · CONSULTANT-LED DELIVERY

Interpret, clarify, plan

We interpret the evidence, clarify it with the people who own the work and develop your cloud foundation strategy. Work through the changes to people, process and technology needed for cloud operations and compliance preparation.

Work is iterative. Participation, checkpoints and acceptance criteria are agreed during scoping.

HOW THE ENGAGEMENT IS ORGANIZED

From existing operations
to a cloud foundation strategy.

Expand a stage to see the conversation, the work and what takes shape. This is the standard planning sequence; activity overlaps and checkpoints are agreed for your engagement.

Eight weeks to shape your foundation strategy.
  1. Preparation & framing

    Weeks 1–2

    • Business context
    • Current-state inputs
    • Working cadence
  2. Operational review

    Weeks 3–4

    • Service ownership
    • Dependencies
    • Operating questions
  3. Cloud operations + compliance

    Weeks 5–6

    • Operations preparation
    • Compliance framing
    • Evidence needs
  4. Foundation strategy

    Weeks 7–8

    • Prioritized actions
    • Decision support
    • Next-step roadmap

Two weeks of preparation, six weeks of consultant-led delivery. The diagram shows the main emphasis of each stage; the weekly detail shows overlapping work. Checkpoints are agreed for your engagement.

WEEKS 01–02Collect the as-is picture

Your data steward coordinates existing material across client and provider owners. We help frame the requests and record what is missing, outdated or outside scope.

What takes shape: A usable evidence inventory, source owners and specific follow-up needs.

WEEK 03Clarify scope, boundary and decision rights

Review the returned material with business and security leads. Clarify candidate workloads, retained dependencies, the proposed boundary and who makes which decisions.

What takes shape: An initial interpretation to confirm—not an assumed assessment result.

WEEK 04Frame the cloud operating model

Work through whether you will join an enterprise service, contract for support or establish your own foundation. Examine shared responsibilities, service handoffs and the changes needed to work at cloud speed.

What takes shape: An operating direction and open choices for leadership and service owners.

WEEKS 05–07Develop and refine the strategy

Connect findings to architecture recommendations, transition activities and compliance preparation. Resolve targeted questions with your leads; identify dependencies, resources, responsibilities and evidence gaps.

What takes shape: The four deliverables taking shape, with assumptions and unresolved questions visible.

WEEK 08Walk through, refine and hand over

Rehearse the proposed operating handoffs, review the recommendations and confirm what the receiving teams need. Record acceptance or remaining issues against the agreed engagement criteria.

What takes shape: A connected strategy, named next conversations and a usable turnover. Engagement acceptance is not an authorization, certification or audit decision.

A weekly view of the developing picture.

Use the engagement dashboard to discuss what changed, what is still awaited and what needs a decision next. The picture develops from the evidence and recorded work—not simply because another week has passed.

The target your preparation plan works toward

A preparation strategy guides implementation and rehearsal; it does not establish operational acceptance.

KEEP YOUR TEAM FOCUSED

Evidence first.
Targeted conversations next.

This is where the synthesis does useful work. We examine existing evidence against the readiness topics, connect it to relevant requirements and practices, and develop interpretations for the consultant and your team to review.

Clarify what the evidence suggests

Interviews start with what we have learned, what conflicts and what remains uncertain. Your owners add context or provide an example; the consultant records the judgment and its basis.

Translate the findings into next work

Connect gaps and opportunities to recommended activities for cloud operations and compliance preparation. The strategy identifies dependencies and priorities; your leaders decide what to adopt and fund.

Where can approved AI assist?

If your organization permits it, its approved AI tools can help your data steward organize existing material and prepare a structured return. Sources and uncertainties stay visible. The consultant reviews interpretations; AI does not accept evidence or make compliance decisions.

Collection and analysis remain within the agreed handling environment. No client material is uploaded through this website, and an AI service is not required to complete the engagement.

When is deeper follow-on work useful?

The focused modules offer separately scoped work in Application Dependency Mapping, Enterprise Architecture & Operations, Zero Trust Preparation and Service-AIOps Readiness. Use your eight-week findings or equivalent existing strategy and evidence to examine a decision in more depth.

Each module has its own scope, specialist participation and schedule.

THE HANDOVER

Know what the next team takes forward.

Four connected deliverables bring the decisions, preparation gaps and proposed work together.

A launch pad, not a binder. From the first week, your data steward works with a curator: a set of plain instruction files that turn the generative AI your organization already authorizes into an assistant that knows the data call, the folders, the index and the four weeks, and carries instructions for the rules that matter (nothing original leaves, nothing is scored, nothing is invented); its outputs are proposals your steward checks against the source. It keeps its memory in your files, not ours. At the turnover it loads the issued roadmap and the jumpstarts and becomes your roadmap curator, so the engagement does not go stale when we leave: the folder tree and its index are your process asset library in first form, and the roadmap becomes your living status against a baseline you can always prove.
